How to choose the right pool lights

Due to the application of swimming pool and fountain lamps under water, there are high requirements on the waterproof performance, anti-leakage design, anti-alkali corrosion technology and other aspects of the lamps. Now those low-priced swimming pool lamps on the market still need to be tested in the aspects of product safety, waterproof performance, light source and quality, after all, the cost is there.

So choose these engineering products must not blindly pursue the low price, must control the quality of the product, electrical waterproof performance, this is the most important. After all, water is a conductor, and poor quality products can easily threaten people's lives.

It is suggested to select the following standards for pool lamps: multi-waterproof (with the highest waterproof certificate of IP68), low-voltage design (generally 12V or 24V, because the human safety voltage is less than or equal to 36V), anticorrosive and corrosion-resistant process, service life time, etc.

Waterproofing measures: Multiple waterproofing processes, such as VDE European standard waterproofing power cord, high quality waterproof apron, lamp body filling, etc., are adopted. Voltage design: the product voltage must be low voltage design, the international low voltage standard is equal to or less than 36V, low voltage safety voltage. The swimming pool lamp cannot be directly connected to the household electricity (220V). It must be passed through the transformer, or it will be burnt out. The bad quality one may even have a safety accident.

Rust corrosion protection: use stainless steel material, especially 316 austenitic stainless steel, 316 stainless steel in 304 stainless steel added molybdenum (MO), make other anti-corrosion, rust resistance is stronger, the cost is higher, usually used for ph higher waters, such as sea water pool, salt water (e.g., aquarium pool), and after polishing, heat sealing, surface science processing is not easy to rust, prolong service life.
