Both "electrodeless lights" and "LED swimming pool lights" are competing for the position of the fourth-generation light source. Compared with the electrodeless lamp, the LED light source also has a long theoretical life, but the light efficiency is low. It also has a short half-life and heat dissipation problems.

We expect that both "electrodeless lamps" and "LED lamps" will replace the "third-generation" HID lamps in the near future and truly become an ideal light source for "high efficiency and longevity".

While experimenting with high-frequency currents, inventor Nikola Tesla developed an electrodeless lamp, but the concept remained largely unexplored for the next century (except for the novelty lamps of the 1980s). The first practical electrodeless lamps appeared shortly after, and the technology continues to be popular today due to its energy and maintenance advantages.

Electrodeless lamps do not require a wired connection between the lamp and its ballast or driver. Since most of the wear of the lamp occurs on the electrodes, the absence of it in this technology can significantly extend the life of the lamp.

Installation precautions The power must be cut off before installation to ensure safety.
Make sure the wiring port is correct before powering on.
If it is found that the work is abnormal (self-extinguishing, flashing), the power should be turned off immediately, and it should be removed and checked by a professional. .
The bottom of the bulb (coupler base) and the fixture of the fixture must be firmly connected and in close contact to ensure good heat dissipation.
The shielded wire between the bulb and the high-frequency generator must not be lengthened or shortened.

The bulb and the high-frequency generator are required to be grounded separately during installation.
Regardless of the luminaire used, the luminaire housing must be grounded.
The lighting time of the light source should not exceed 15 minutes when it is not connected to the lamp (let the lamp itself play the role of heat dissipation).
When the light bulb is on or just turned off, do not touch the light bulb directly to avoid burns.
Couplers and high-frequency generators can not be arbitrarily modified.
Neither electrodeless lamps nor high-frequency generators can be installed on lamps without heat sinks.
Occasionally, the electrodeless lamp does not light up, or goes out after lighting, please check the heat dissipation device of the lamp.
If the generator is installed in a closed electrical box, the upper cover of the generator can be removed.
